[attr="class","app-content-history"] Carlos was born to two loving parents and an older sister in Kanto. They were very poor, but lived a happy life. One day, when Carlos was 1, his mother was killed by a rogue Pyroar. His father found out soon, became depressed, and started to gamble. This left the family even more poor and Carlos's father became a criminal. He left Carlos and his sister to fend for themselves. The siblings had no choice but to become a duo of thieves. They used their age to distract their victims and then stole their money. This happened for several years until Carlos was caught by the police at age 5. The police sent him to an orphanage where he stayed until he was 7. When he was 7, the Valeas adopted him into their family and taught him how to not steal and to help the weaker. Now, he dreams of becoming a police officer to help stop criminals like his dad, hates Cat Pokemon (because of the rogue Pyroar), and loves his adoptive family very much.
